145 miles touching the 4 corners of Kent County, with 50 and 100 mile bail-outs, lunch, and snacks.

Bag Balm

Memorial Day Weekend - May 26-27, 2018

Bag Balm is a ride from Rockford to Cadillac and back on Memorial Day weekend.
It is supported by A SAG vehicle with all the supplies you need. These include water, Gatorade, Coke, Ensure, lemonade, cookies, brownies, aussie bites, an assortment of fruit and whatever other goodie we can think of. Lunch is provide on Saturday and Sunday. Pizza for dinner Saturday evening at the hotel.

The 100 Grand

The Wheelmen's original event ride travels throughout Kent county and neighboring counties and supplies nearly 50% of the Club's annual income to support activities year-round. The ride offers 17, 35, 65, and 105 mile options, great food, friendly, helpful SAG, and Road Bike 101.

Colorburst

October 12, 2019

Charity ride created as a memorial to Donna Ryskamp, who was killed in 1983 by a drunk driver; funds go to local charities, typically bicycling related, selected each year by the club's members. Enjoy fall colors, various distances, pancake breakfast, snacks, and soup.

Time Trials

May - August

Improve your speed and stamina through our club time trials. Time trials are held May through August every Monday evening (except during holidays and severe weather) on a 15-mile course in Ada and are open to all members. Results are recorded each week and published online . Try to improve your time each week!

Club Rides

Riding in a group is a great way to meet new friends and make riding even more fun. There are many free club rides planned throughout the year ranging in distances from 10 to over 50 miles, with varying paces. All club rides are no-drop rides and will re-group as necessary.
